We are glad to present one of the most unique projects completed by PALAMI. Interactive Christmas tree at LIDO Leisure Center in Riga. Christmas tree decorated with almost 35 000 PALAMI-MediaCAP LEDs.
PALAMI-MediaCAP is a unique solution and allows you to implement any task. In this case, an interactive Christmas tree is 19 meters high and performs as an Art object and as well as an area for displaying video content, pictures or anything that could be displayed on a standard LED screen
In November 2017 media screen made of PALAMI-MediaTUBE product was installed on the facade of SPICE HOME building. The screen is almost 60 m2 in size and is used for commercial purpose. The used pixel pitch is 25mm (vertically) and 50 mm (horizontally) ensures perfect image visibility from already 25 meters, there are no gaps visible between the tubes.
The object is made of PALAMI LED panels that are connected in several planes, creating a three-dimensional object. This is a first project as an environmental art object for PALAMI and it has been both a big challenge and honour for us to turn the artists ideas into reality.
The LED object can be viewed from all 4 sides from very close distance thanks to the small 8 mm pixel pitch and has special screen edges solution so that the four screen sides can be set in 90 degrees angle in relation to the adjacent screens, connecting the surfaces of the screens into one system without gaps.

The LED Media Window is the industry’s new visual standard in indoor and outdoor LED technology. Viru Keskus was the first customer to deploy such Media Window in the world. While being a great challenge for the Hansab Estonia installation team, it proved to show exceptional results.
Media Window is based on the integration of small LEDs between two panels of a double-glazed window. Together they combine into one integrated solution. This screen can display HD videos, HD images, live broadcasting, and other media content. What is more, it can also be a building lighting option.
Arena Riga has invested in new LED system solutions that are custom designed and manufactured by PALAMI which includes two digital scoreboards and a long LED line (PALAMI-FlexPERIMETER-11 longer than 200 meters), as well universal controlling judging console and media mixer. The last stage of the project was installation of the media cube, the central object of the arena.
Learn more about the project: All LED screens contain the latest SMD LED technology, they are lightweight and very easy to install and are made in full compliance with European directives and the rules of International Sports Federations of corresponding kinds of sports.
The unique PALAMI media cube with seamless design is made of 3 screen lines, each with a curved surface using product PALAMI-FLEX-6. The screen control system is able to display different images or videos on each screen and also the same image or video on all eight screens in Arena Riga. The media cube has indoor specification and its screen displays to all four sides with rounded corners that make it possible to see the screen from any place in the arena. Front maintenance that is provided with special magnets makes it easy to access the screen inside without a need to remove all of the construction.
The media cube complies with the newest World sports federation regulations therefore it can be used in any sports event in many years to come.
